“We’re excited by the participatory nature of the Adventure Course, especially as Adventure riders ourselves,” said Larry Little, VP and General Manager of AIMExpo. “It fits perfectly as part of the AIMExpo Outdoors! concept within the overall vision for AIMExpo to energize, engage and excite.”
The AIMExpo Adventure Course will be part of a larger experiential area known as AIMExpo Outdoors! where show attendees will have the opportunity to test ride street motorcycles, ATV’s and Side by Side vehicles from Yamaha, Suzuki, Kymco and Massimo. A separate off-road area is being created for the ATV’s and Side by Side’s.
“The BMW MOA will be a sponsor of this event as part of our association’s presence at AIMExpo,” said Bob Aldridge, MOA Executive Director. “A large percentage of our members are involved in adventure travel, and similar to The GS Giant event at our rally, this is an opportunity for riders to increase their skills on the various types of terrain they encounter during a real world ride. Plus, it’s a great way to make more riders aware of the MOA, and become interested in joining us.”
Make sure to visit the MOA’s indoor booth, as well as the outdoor dirt track area.
The AIMExpo Adventure Course will open at 1 pm on Friday, October 18, in conjunction with the consumer opening of AIMExpo Outdoors! and will be available through the conclusion of AIMExpo on Sunday, October 20. In addition to the course being open to AIMExpo participants, adventure riding experts will hold special demonstrations on riding technique. Designed for all skill levels, the course features an easy path and a more difficult path through the obstacles.
