"Everytime I saw her, she was smiling"
It is with deepest regrets to report the death of our longtime friend and BMW MOA member, Ardys Kellerman. Ardys lost her life in a traffic accident in Alabama on Monday, June 24. We send our deepest sympathies to Ardys’ family and multitude of friends.
Ardys was a legend and inspiration to many in the BMW MOA and motorcycling community. In August 2011, Ardys achieved her goal of riding one million miles on BMW motorcycles. She showed us there are no boundaries, neither gender nor age, when it comes to riding a motorcycle—just do what you love to do. Her smile and laughter will be greatly missed.
If you would like to share a photo or memory of your experiences with Ardys, we would love to share them with Ardy’s family and the BMW MOA to remember her immense impact on our community. Please send your submissions to email@example.com.
