It was working intermittently so I removed the EHCS and found the motor to have a corroded and loose ground screw. Since I had it off the bike, I completely disassembled & flushed the hydraulic unit, replaced the motor (it's the same motor as that on many Honda scooters), installed a stainless ground screw, and reassembled the whole thing. But, before adding oil, I over-tightened one of the four end-cap nuts and broke the ear off. Completely my error. They're only sold new as a whole unit and I couldn't find any used units to salvage parts off of so I sprung $1300 for a new one and kept this as a spare. Sold my 2006 LT recently so I don't need it anymore. The $375 price includes shipment within the lower-48.
