On Sunday, November 4, 2012, friends of Kari Prager remembered his passing two years ago at one of Kari's favorite places, on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Davenport, CA. While there we had a picnic lunch and Arlie Ray read one of the many poems that Kari had written over the years.

The BMW Motorcycle Club of Northern California is a riding and camping club. Our December 3, 2011 monthly club meeting was at the Casa de Fruta campgrounds near Hollister, CA. A number of members met for breakfast at Alice's Restaurant, located on Hwy 35 (Skyline Blvd.) above Woodside, CA. Maps and GPS chips were shared for the group ride, with snack and lunch stops along the way.

On September 24, 1911, just over 100 years ago, 1,500 motorcyclists from around the San Francisco Bay area met in Oakland, CA , then "raced" to Livermore, CA where a group photo was taken. This was the first Motorcycle Day in Livermore. On September 24, 2011 more than 300 motorcyclists celebrated the 100th anniversary of Motorcycle Day in Livermore. It was a lot of fun.
