Next year, AMT will celebrate ten years in business by offering a tour especially designed for BMW MOA members.
This ride runs May 10 - May 24, 2014.
Martina and Matej launched Adriatic Moto Tours - the region’s first motorcycle touring company - in 2004, confident that serious motorcyclists the world over would share their love of riding some of the most beautiful, least discovered roads in Eastern and Central Europe. At first, it was just two BMW’s—an F650GS and an R1200GS—and two countries—Slovenia and Croatia. Now, almost ten years later, AMT has expanded to a fleet of sixty expertly maintained new or almost-new sport touring motorcycles from BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Yamaha and others, and added sixteen countries to their itineraries.
AMT is based in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia, the former Yugoslavia’s most prosperous republic. Several tours start and end there, such as AMT’s best seller—the Beautiful Balkan Adventure (BBA). Led by knowledgeable guides steeped in the rich, complicated history of the area, BBA gives riders an insightful introduction to Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro. It is a tour of great diversity, amazing landscapes, and fantastic riding. As American journalist, Greg Drevenstedt, said after the tour, “The Balkan region is a perfect, off-the-radar motorcycle destination.” Other tours from AMT’s rich menu of options launch from other easily accessed European cities: Tuscany Sardinia Corsica Tours from Venice, Greece Tour from Athens, Intriguing Southeast Europe from Belgrade, Romania & Bulgaria Adventure from Bucharest, Grand King’s Tour from Vienna. This year, AMT debuted a Swiss Alps tour and is preparing two Alpine tours for the 2014 season, starting and ending in Munich and including castle -rich Bavaria. The shorter one (9 days) will concentrate on the Swiss and Austrian Alps, and the Dolomites; the longer one (15 days) will continue on through the French Alps and to the French Riviera.
In addition to these professionally guided, full service tours, complete with chase/luggage vans and no detail left unaddressed, clients may choose simply to rent a bike and go solo and draw upon AMTs vast experience in the form of written instructions, maps, and pre -arranged lodgings, in addition to the motorcycle rental.
AMT has grown in large part from satisfied repeat customers and their referrals. From the start, it has been AMT’s goal to offer stunning routes, top quality bikes, dedicated personal service, thorough planning and attention to detail, experienced, knowledgeable guides, flexibility in touring options—and all at reasonable prices.
Next year, AMT will celebrate ten years in business by offering a tour especially designed for BMW MOA members. AMT hopes you will join Martina, Matej and their team of guides for the ride of a lifetime on Europe’s roads less-traveled.
