Join us in Pipestem, WV, for another great Getaway!
Save the dates! August 15-17, 2025
Rides4Fun heads east for this new event on the MOA Getaway schedule for 2025. It will be held in Almost Heaven – West Virginia, that is! As always, all brands and riders are welcome. No membership is required, so bring your riding friends. Come experience some of West Virginia’s legendary motorcycle riding on the best mountain roads in the region.
EVENT DETAILS
The higher mountain elevation location should ensure some great summer riding weather. West Virginia offers incredible roads for street riders and is legendary for its primitive roads for adventure riders to explore.
Pipestem Resort State Park is in southern West Virginia in the famous Appalachian Mountains – the perfect place for a summer MOA Getaway. Even in August, riders can expect cool mornings to start their rides. West Virginia is the only state with a mountain valley elevation over 3,000 feet east of the Mississippi River. The terrain and sparse traffic make it a natural haven for motorcycles.
Guests will enjoy the destination nestled in the heart of historical timber and coal country. You’ll be impressed with the park’s great amenities. The first stop for guests will be sign-in at the McKeever Lodge sitting at the top of a mountain. The park even has a second lodge at the bottom of a canyon – the Mountain Creek Lodge. The Mountain Creek lodge is only accessible by the park’s gondola, for a true mountain experience. On Saturday, riders will have five street routes to select from to enjoy and one big bike-friendly adventure route as well. Bring your ADV bike and skills to enjoy some incredible views and riding in America’s newest national park, the New River Gorge Park and Preserve.
EVENT FEES
The $149 event fee includes a Friday night welcome party and dinner with cash bar, Saturday night dinner and awards with cash bar, thousands of dollars worth of door prizes and a special MOA gift. The Getaway event fee does not include lodging. Please call the venue directly (see LODGING), and visit the venue’s website for reservations and cancellation policies.

We are the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. A group of 25,000 BMW motorcycle enthusiasts who started with the same spark for motorcycling that you did. Our history dates back over 40 years to five friends who formed a motorcycle club to stay in touch with each other. Today, we are a network of riders across all 50 United States and ten Canadian provinces. We have members on all seven continents and it isn’t possible to ride without finding a friendly face.
