Just errands. Had to pick up a prescription—no idea why that took 30 minutes, but it did—and go out to the courthouse complex to pay the property taxes on our cars and motorcycles.
They’re doing construction down the hill to the left out of my neighborhood. The dude with the slow/stop sign posts up at the end of our feeder street. He kept trying to say something. I kept shouting, “I can’t hear you,” and eventually gave up and just went the other way. So angry yesterday at a bunch of things. Probably shouldn’t have gotten on the bike in that state, but here we are.
Bike was a total pain in the ass to start. I feel it’s getting worse. George says it should start easier when we get the digital ignition installed—eliminating the points and the analogue timing advance. I just hope I can find time before I wreck the starter and/or flywheel. Got a set of clutch parts for $300 from a rando on Facebook in one of the Airhead groups. Just in case. He packed them poorly, just stacking them on top of each other in a USPS Priority Mail box with a few pieces of paper in between each part. They look OK but I’ll have George eyeball them. I’ll never understand why people half-ass protecting the stuff they ship.
