Join us for over 50 years of tradition in the Talimena. The Talimena State Park is located in the southeast corner of our state at the base of the Talimena Scenic Byway. Your only cost will be dependent on your camping requirements. RV spot / RV spot with hookups, specific campsites – always a good idea to check with travelok.com. There are plenty of general overflow tent camping. For those not camping, there are several hotels as well as restaurants in the area. Friday evening is chilli and hotdogs. Saturday breakfast & dinner – Sunday coffee and a light snack. Donations for food are greatly appreciated. Join us for good food, good times and some of the best scenic views in Oklahoma. Talimena State Park is an Oklahoma state park located in LeFlore County in eastern Oklahoma. The 20 acres park is at the Oklahoma entrance to Talimena Scenic Drive, about 7 miles north of Talihina, Oklahoma. and 20 miles south of Wister. It offers opportunities for camping, hiking, biking, and wildlife watching.
