Their work brings experience, creativity and craftsmanship to the show, but Builders Best is not reserved for established shops. Home builders, first time entrants and passionate motorcycle owners are welcome too.
Scott Thibeault
Thibeault MotorcraftScott Thibeault of Thibeault Motorcraft joined the 2026 Builders Best Custom Motorcycle Show presented by BMW MOA at BMW Motorrad Days with his RS24, a one off BMW build inspired by the RS54 race machines BMW produced in 1954. Based in San Rafael, California, Thibeault brings more than 25 years of industrial and product design experience to motorcycle building; in 2022, he left his role at frog design to pursue the creativity and craftsmanship he found in the garage full time. Today, Thibeault Motorcraft focuses on vintage BMW Airheads, combining fabrication and engineering.
Parker Zamarelli
Nashville, TennesseeParker Zamarelli has quickly become one of the defining names of the Builders Best show, earning People’s Choice honors in both 2025 and 2026. The Nashville, Tennessee builder first made his mark at the inaugural Builders Best Motorcycle Show in Lebanon, where his custom BMW R100 captured both Best BMW and People’s Choice. Zamarelli returned for the 2026 Builders Best Custom Motorcycle Show presented by BMW MOA at BMW Motorrad Days, again bringing the kind of clean proportions, thoughtful fabrication and purposeful attitude that have made his work a crowd favorite.
Marek Kruszynski
MarekswerkMarek Kruszynski of Marekswerk first joined the Builders Best show at the BMW MOA National Rally in Essex, Vermont, in June 2026. Originally from Poland and now based in Brooklyn, New York, Marek works as a plumber by day and transforms his building’s basement into the Marekswerk workshop after hours, where he focuses on ground up custom builds and precision performance parts for classic BMW Airheads and K series motorcycles. His background includes more than two decades immersed in BMW automotive engineering and diagnostics, experience he now applies to motorcycles with a mix of vintage aesthetics, modern components and meticulous fabrication. Marek returned later that year for the 2026 Builders Best Custom Motorcycle Show presented by BMW MOA at BMW Motorrad Days, continuing to showcase the technical creativity and attention to detail that define Marekswerk.
Nick Rovello
Hellgate MotoNick Rovello of Hellgate Moto joined the Builders Best show in Essex, Vermont, in 2026 before returning later that year for the 2026 Builders Best Custom Motorcycle Show presented by BMW MOA at BMW Motorrad Days. Based in Centerport, New York, Rovello brings more than two decades of BMW experience to the shop, including 23 years as a BMW master mechanic and dealership shop foreman. He founded Hellgate Moto with longtime friend Anthony Lohalbo after the pair began working out of a garage in Astoria, Queens, during the pandemic, eventually building a reputation around vintage BMW K series machines and Airhead boxers as well as classic Hondas and Vespas.
Zack Witkowsky
Black Wolf Touring and CustomZack Witkowsky of Black Wolf Touring and Custom has been part of the Builders Best story from the beginning, attending the first three iterations of the show and bringing a deeply personal approach to custom BMW motorcycles. Based in Beecher, Illinois, Witkowsky grew up around motorcycles and began learning vintage BMW Airheads from his father, Jeff, at an early age; the two worked together for more than two decades, and Zack later honored that legacy by naming his shop Black Wolf Touring and Custom. For Builders Best, his work has showcased the blend of mechanical reliability and craftsmanship that defines the shop.
You do not need a famous shop name to belong here.
Builders Best celebrates accomplished professional builders, but it was also created for the rider who spends evenings in a garage making an old motorcycle better, stranger, faster, cleaner or simply more personal. If you have built or preserved a motorcycle you are proud of, you are part of the audience this show was created for.
