Meeting called to order at 9:02 am with President Chad Garcia presiding and minutes taken by Board Secretary Doug Bakke.

President Chad Garcia opened the meeting and welcomed all in attendance. Each Director introduced themselves to attendees. Chad provided a short overview of member benefits (Tire & Towing Coverage increases, 10% Parts Rebates, various vendor discounts). Chad also discussed working closer with Charter Clubs along with volunteer efforts put forth by board members.

Member Michael Johnston spoke to involvement by veteran support groups and the need to have them present at National Rally. Ted Moyer provided background and spoke to commitment to continue eMorts in this area. Becky Smith spoke to Motorcycle Relief Project’s (MRP) presence at the rally along with the scheduled Veteran’s Social being jointly hosted by MRP and BDR groups. Concerns related to showers were raised and addressed.

Concerns regarding handicapped riders gate access were raised and addressed. Member Jeff Green inquired as to current MOA membership counts and rally attendance numbers. Ted Moyer provided membership numbers at roughly 23,600 and rally numbers would be close to 5,000 with 3,400 pre-registered.

Member Norm Phoenix addressed Pioneer Dinner and the overlap with other nightly dinners being held and wanted to know who made change. Chad Garcia provided information that the decision was made jointly by staff and board. Norm stated they had a great Pioneer Dinner.

Member Matt Parkhouse addressed the combination of dinners and would like to go back to split dinners to allow focus on Contributors.

Member Scott Ross with Lehigh Valley Beemers spoke to their club becoming a chapter club in October 2025 and wanted to know if program would be expanded. Ted Moyer addressed this and stated yes, but with staff limitations, progress would be slow.

Member Roger Trendowski addressed MOA Getaways being taken over by Rides4Fun and stated they have become overpriced and under-attended. Ted Moyer spoke to this and there is a push to get away from the MOA Getaways due to the financial risk caused by price increases. Member Chris Bennett raised an alternate approach used by the Chicago Club where they are much more informal, pay your own way by self-booking room from block, group meals coordinated at local restaurants.

Member Ben Lower expressed his gratitude towards the MOA.

Member Carl Hutchinson inquired if meeting minutes would be published. Ted Moyer responded that they would be published.

Member Jeff Green expressed his thanks to the board for their work.
