Kermit came on his R 1250 GS “Rallye” and brought all sorts of tools, including a battery-powered drill and a battery-powered impact “wrench” (drill). He put up the two shelving units – five shelves total, the last one didn’t really fit where I wanted it so I just left it off. One unit is in each half of the shed on the right as you go in, opposite from the work bench. I helped a bit but he did most of the work.

Then we put up the tire rack and I became a man! Having my own tire rack feels like a major motorcycling level up event.

I sure was tired, two hard days of work in a row. Kermit’s work in the shed took about three hours, I treated him to Mimmo’s for lunch and then he rode home in a torrential thunderstorm.
